to configure Exchange Online backup (O365) we need Access Node and Index server.

Why do we require Exchange Online Index Server? What are its Pro and cons?

Hi @Rahul18081 , welcome and thanks for the post!

Essentially, the Index Server is there to allow for faster browsing and content indexing (if enabled).  Considering the number of files, etc. you’d have unacceptable performance if you didn’t have a dedicated index server.
