We have a problem about a backup copy by NDMP, it is not letting us mount the previous snap, constantly giving an error

Failed to mount snap of source volume [/FS_NFS] - id [21038] backup job [338439] mount client [win-backup] mount point [] array [NFSUNITY] snap engine [Dell EMC Unity Snap] by [Application].

@eguillem , I found case 220812-260 for this issue.  I’ll track it accordingly.

Hello @eguillem

When looking at the job details do you notice any further details about the error as to why it cannot be mounted? I would suspect the error gives a little more information as to what the issue might be.

If not, it might be best to get a case opened with Support to review the logs for the failing job.

Thank you,
Collin

@eguillem - Can you provide a copy of the Data Retention and Forecast Compliance report for the storage policy in question?

@eguillem following up on this one.  Were you able to find out anything on the snap engine side?
