Hello,

I’m trying to restore some files from a Netapp volume in Intellisnap to the drive 😨 of a Windows destination. But I receive this failure :

Failed to start CVNRDS Process on host xxx

No files are restored

Hi Mike,

Sorry for the late answer, We noticed that Flexclone license missed in the cluster Ontap. Add the license solved the issue.

Best regards,

Gilles

Hi @Gilles SCHMIDT , welcome to the community!

Based on the initial error, it sounds like a communication error.   Is this the first restore attempt to this destination?

Can you look at nasRestore.log and see what the errors indicate?

Also, please run our network test tools and share the output for ports 8403 and 8400 from Source to destination and vice versa.

Hi Mike,

Yes it’s the first restore attempt. I will parse the log and run the network test tools when I will return to my customer (probably next week). I keep you inform.

Thanks !

Gilles

@Gilles SCHMIDT , following up on this restore.  Were you able to reproduce or did the subsequent attempt complete?
