why it is not possible to restore a single ms sql table to the original database? (not to the database which is created while for browse / recovery point)
found this community post which is also not “solved” imo.

Hello
You are correct the original database is not displayed as a destination to restore the individual tables.
I believe this was done for precautionary reasons. Also, the import/export function within MSSQL allow you to easily move the table to the original DB.
I will discuss this with the development team to see if there were other reasons/challenges.
