Group based scheduling of Oracle log backups

I recently discovered that our Oracle incremental backup schedule is not working as initially expected by my predecessor.

It is assigned to a client group with all our Oracle servers and starts an incremental backup on the default subclient and a log backup on the Archlog subclient.

The goal with this schedule was to only backup Archlogs.

I already studied the documentation and read through a few post here but it seems like there is no way to prevent this behaviour when the schedule is assigned to a client group.

Is there no other way to schedule an Archlog backup exclusively other than assigning the subclient itself to the schedule?

Maybe some option to restrict the schedule to just Archlog subclients?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Marcel_RE

I did review the above requirement. However as of now we don't have an option to schedule jobs independently without mapping it to Arch log sub client.
