Hello quick question about sealing database

Hi Bloopa,
Do you mean :
- If I seal a DDB, is a new DDB +its files created straight away?
- If I seal a DDB, it’s ‘archived’ and a new one will be created as soon as a new backup would run?
From my experience, I only saw case 1.
