How and where to view commserve's SQL configuration

We want to double check how our commserve is set up - specifically, where its Microsoft SQL database is. Where can we find this information?

Because a distributed, two-tiered indexing system for tracking managed data is used, the size of the metadata database is controlled.”Hope this helps.

if we follow the instructions here - https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/essential/142604_upgrading_microsoft_sql_server_editions_on_commserve_computer.html - including uninstalling our existing commserve software and also uninstalling SQL Server 2014, the commserve installer will put 2019 back onto our server?

Yes, CV will install SQL Server 2019 if there’s no SQL Server already installed.
