How to add a filter to Exclude stub files from backups.

Could you please elaborate on the use case here? Why are we trying to avoid stub files backup?

I am assuming you are referring to commvault stubs i.e. stubs created by commvault driver for let’s say archiving solution. If not, kindly let me know.

We have a client requirement to exclude stub files  for backups at File agent backup.

Hence making sure I use right filters at the subclient level to define it

Can you try adding the below additional setting -

Please note that -

• We will not backup stubs on archiving subclient if this key is set.
   
• Stubs will still get backed up by the Filesystem subclient.
   
• Minimum Service Pack level required = SP26
