How to change retention time when is using schedule

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hi team,

I have a storage policy with just primary copy and retention default 30 days

So I created a schedule to backup a subclient modifying that retention time:

But the results I have accomplished  are  the retention time remains 30 days:

Could you help me on this? thank you

@jparaujo the ‘retain until’ column usually only inherits the calculated ‘day’ retention value defined in the storage policy settings that the subclient is associated to, any ‘manual’ retention (as I would consider this to be), does not get reflected here.

Can you please run the data retention report and look for the same jobs to see what the retention value is defined?

Report steps are here:

thank you @Chris Hollis, after that post I've changed the retention time in Storage Policy to reduce to 7 days, and I notice that modification reflected even the old jobs.

So, my issue is gone. Thank you
