Hello All,

We have Red Hat Openshift Kubernetes Clusters. I have two question

1-we have some apps without PODs. Is there a way to skip them.

2- We have some namespaces. They have no any object installed in. They are also failing during backup. Is there a way skip this error ?

Hello,

One alternative is to use label selectors on applications that you do want to backup and use those to add content.

In 11.38 we’ve introduced additional capabilities to add exclusions based on other criteria as well.

Hi @ETO,

You can add in Exclusions at the Application Group level to filter these objects from the backup.

Refer to the documentation here: https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/essential/excluding_kubernetes_applications_from_application_group.html

Best Regards,

Michael

Hello @MichaelCapon

we are backing up all cluster and namesapces. The  documentation you sent me ıt is about exclusion individual. A lot of applications are installed and then deleted on te cluster . So Is there a way exclude another way. we do not want to select one by one . Becase each cluster has about 7000 application
