Hi,

I have a customer who as a HyperScale 1.5 of 3 nodes, each node as a network configuration in mode 1.

If we want to switch to mode 4, is there something to do beside stop Commvault services and Gluster services before rerunning setupsds to change the networking mode ? IPs will stay the same.

Thank you,

Hi @Marco Lachance

Rather than running setupsds, edit the bond files(ifcfg-bond*) in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts as below:

BONDING_OPTS='mode=4 fail_over_mac=1 miimon=100'

You should be able to get this working by restarting the network service but would recommend rebooting the nodes.

Ensure CV & Gluster services are stopped prior to attempting this.
