With RHEL 7 will approaching End of Maintenance, is there / will there be an option to upgrade existing HyperScale 1.5 Reference Architecture deployments to RHEL 8.x?

Just to close this out for the benefit of anyone who comes across it, the End-of-Life, Deprecated HyperScale Appliances (commvault.com) page has been updated, and includes the following:

What happens with Red Hat 7.9 Support?

Commvault has worked with Red Hat to provide Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) for all Commvault customers using HyperScale platforms running RHEL 7.9 until the End-of-Life date listed for each platform posted above.

Hi @Erase4ndReuseMedia

HSX 1.5 will remain on RHEL 7. For more information around EOL dates, please check the following URL

Commvault continues to support Hyperscale 1.5 until December 31st, 2026. So, I assume Commvault will provided OS security updates for RHEL 7.x through their arrangements with Red Hat, right?
