HI All,

just curious has anyone already some experience with the combination CommVault i-Serie VTL solution? 

How does this perform and stable is it?

Michel we got something in the pipeline that will replace that.  I’ll check with dev on if we have some performance stats and whatnot we can share.   Hit me up offline if I fail to respond here.

Plus 1 on the iSeries VTL changes.  I would look forward to easier bare metal recoveries.

Hello,

We are trying to configure Commvault VTL 2.0 with i-series system,

We have download the rpm package and install it on linux 7.9 OS.

As per given steps in document we have install the rpm and we we trying to configure Physicals storage on the vtl web portal but getting bellow error 

“Error reply from server is error adding new disk IOCTL error”

“Warning tl_ioctl:171 failed to exec cmd 1 107 errno 1 Operation not permitted”
