hi,

i was working with a customer who has long running synthetic fulls.

which disrupts the Incremental backup schedule.

so we entered as we used to normally do for indexing V2 clients the bjMAllowIncrWithSynthFull add setting.

but it does not seem to work, and i am not able to find a reference to the setting in the latest documentation.

is this still available?

kind regards,

Thos Gieskes.

I checked internally and looks like it won’t work if 1Touch is enabled. If it’s basic FS then should work.

Hey Thos,

I believe this still works for simple File System agent. What is the IDA\Agent you are running backup for?

I think this deosn’t work for other IDAs like VSA etc.

@Alireza B thank you, i will confirm this and if it is not case i will enter a case with support.

i was more looking to see if it still worked, so if it should work i feel support needs to look at it.
