We are planning to implement new media agent servers in main & secondary sites.
The new MA servers are having 4 network ports.
For backup and replication using dedicated network switches and also these two data traffic to be seperated.
Please advise.
You can achieve the use of different networks with DIPs (data interface pairs).
The first pair is established between a group of clients and the backup Media Agent (backup traffic), while the second DIP is between both Media Agents (replication traffic).
