Issues with Backup and restore

Hello Community,

anyone has any reason why i experience this error when I try to initiate backup and it stops at 5% and doesn’t move.


Error Code: [23:4] Description: Read error on socket from MediaAgent. Source: commvlt-staging, Process: clRestore

This error usually indicates a communication issue.

What do you see in clrestore.log?

Normally, a one way persistent firewall will solve this issue:

@uchenna kanu what version are you running? are you using network gateways? what agent are you using?

Funny thing is that you are mentioning that it happens while trying to backup while the error messages invokes the clRestore process.
