Hello Team,

According to the documentation below, secrets(cluster level) cannot be backed up with Commvault. Is there a workaround to suggest to get this? Or is the document up to date?

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/essential/123634_kubernetes.html

Protecting secrets is definately supported today and since Feature Release 11.20 - when the secret is associated with the application.

Maybe the “workaround” is to update to FR26? (if you’re brave enough)

At least this isn’t listed in the "Data You Cannot Back Up" section…

I already looked at the FR26 pages, but I couldn't find any indication that the secret was backed up. Can you post a screenshot if you see it?

Yes, not in "Data You Cannot Back Up," but not in "Data You Can Back Up"!

Best Regards.

Great, I need to ask a question here. In the documentation below, it is seen in SP24 that the secret is not backed up, does it make a difference?

I'm trying to figure out what the difference is right now

@Mathew Ericson , are the docs wrong here, or unclear?  I can talk to the docs team and have this updated.

That is cluster level secrets

Application-level secrets are protected today
