has anyone ever tried to send the library description in a library offline alert?
This is no problem in client or subclient alerts, but I don't see any way to send this with libraries as well.
The Notification Tokens don't seem to have a selection for this either

The desciption tokens are only available for either clients, subclients, jobs and alert conditions detected.
For libraries you have only a Library Name token available.
If you have a need for additional tokens I would advise you to raise a CMR, this might not be a short term change though, that depends on existing and future priorities within the development department.

Can you clarify what you mean by Library Description? The alert should show the name of the library encountering the issue.

I’m talking about the actual Description Field on the Library (Libraries → “Lib Name” → Properties → Description on the Bottom of the Window
