M365 backup job stuck at 84%

Hi,

Currently we are running an M365 backup job using Azure Active directory and it is stuck at 84% since last 3 days. The status is showing as running. We are unable to figure out why its stuck here for so long?

 

Any thoughts?

Thank you for reaching out, it seems that the job is stuck during it’s archive index phase.
I would recommend raising a support case to work with an engineer to further review this.

Apart from the raising a case could you check for archiveindex.logs it would also give an idea at what point it is stuck.

If possible can you paste logs here.

@Fahad_AirGate if it is O365 Exchange online 
please check view job details for the long running archive job 
 


where from status tab will give more details of content processed, and streams tab will provide details on what is currenlty being processed and taking longer time

@Fahad_AirGate thank you ,It appears from the screenshot that there is an active stream processing job currently in the archive phase. Please wait for the job to complete 
If it is not progressing forward, please create a case with us so we can investigate further. However, in this case, it is progressing.

@Sujay kumar it is showing progressing , however there r no logs since 14th July and being stuck for more than 3 days doesnt seem like its doing anything.

Hello @Fahad_AirGate 

From commcell, if you right click on the job and select view logs, under archiveindex.log, does it show anything with latest date and time?
