Is there going to be another way to configure sending email if legacy SMTP relay is not allowed in the azure account of the customer ?

How exactly my customer have done that !

They told me, they had to enable legacy mode in there O365 Tenant !

I will try to know exactly what they have done and I’ll let you know.

Marco,

Does the customer have another onprem Exchange Server for management purposes?  You can always relay off of that. What is the customer’s plan for their scanners?

Microsoft used to have a method to setup IIS as a email relay too.

No, it is a 100% Cloud environment ! I found work around, but Commvault should work on a new way to integrate mail forwarding within Office 365 without enabling legacy stuff .

@Marco Lachance , can you share the workaround?  I can relay the workaround and need for a better method to dev.
