Merge Data on Tape

Helo Everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to merge the backup jobs of 2 cartridges on a single.

i know is possible to copy data to a new tape but any information about merging.

There absolutely is; it’s called a Media Refresh:

This feature does exactly what you are looking for: the process takes unaged jobs across tapes in a Copy and consolidates them to fewer tapes.
