Hi,

Does commvault have plans to support MongoDB in the OS version of Ubuntu 24.04?
The customer has version 11.32 installed. There is info in the documentation that the highest supported Ubuntu version is 20.04.
https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/essential/system_requirements_for_mongodb.html
Is support for newer versions of Ubuntu perhaps on Commvault's road map?
Thanks in advance for the information.

hello @Michal Osewski

I hope youre doing well.

Ive checked internally and found that one of our CST backups for MongoDB on Ubuntu 22.04 with CommCell 11.32 is working fine.

You might want to give it a try with Ubuntu 24.04 I hope it work as expected….

Hi @Michal Osewski

MongoDB supports Ubuntu 24.04 with MongoDB Version 8.0
https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/administration/production-notes/#platform-support-matrix

We are currently adding support for MongoDB Version 8.0

Once this version is fully supported, we will also include underlying OS versions.

Customer would like to know for when approximately (which quarter of the year) - is Mongo support planned for Ubuntu 24.04. I would be grateful for information.
