NDMP synthetic full

any future update will have this feature ? Is there any such work going on ?

We have larger volumes to be backed up. Every Full is taking more than 50 hrs. based on size. Ultimately skipping scheduled incremental while full is already in progress. 

One more concern we have from storage end. Volume snapshot took for the backup purpose will be lying on storage until backup for that volume gets finishes. This snapshot is consuming space on storage and ultimately leading to alerts as storage usage got crossed threshold limit. 

So, if we have synthetic provision for NDMP backups which will be helpful in such cases. 

Any update on this?
