Hello All,

I installed the CV  AD agent on a Windows server.

I tried to test the backup however,  I am seeing the message below in the Adbackup.log

adBackupClass::getAdParameters() - Error: Either there is no content eligible for backup or Directory services are offline.

[main]() - Error connecting to servers or error getting information from AppMan

I am thinking that this is something the Server Admin needs to check , i just want to make sure this isn’t a CV issue.

Let me know if more information is needed

Thanks in advance

hello @Commvault387

First, check the user permissions by trying to log in with the service user on the Domain Controller (DC).

Next, verify the DC services using netdom or the AD HealthCheck script.

I hope this resolves the issue.

Hello  Mohamed,

Thank you for your response, I will have the admin check the permissions and the those DC services.

Thanks again
