No Compression on LTO 9 tapes

Hi,
we have a new LTO 9 tape drive an there is no compression on my tapes.
In my storage policy hardware compression is enabled.
In my clients the option under software compression is set to “On client”.
Is there anything else i can do for compression?

    This is because the compression is being performed by Commvault before it writes the data to tape media, so there is nothing left to be compressed.

    OK, i thought i see this on my tape in Commvault !?
    Actually 17,56 TB stored on my tape. But i thought i see the compressed data stored ??!!
