Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hi,

I have an issue where my user have application that the license tied to MAC address of the vm. When I do restore the vm (overwrite existing), the vm restored having different MAC address than original. Is this supposed to happen? Is there any ways that I can preserved the original MAC address when restore the whole vm?

This is using vsa Nutanix vm backup.

regards,

Fauzi

Hey Fauzi,

This is a new option\feature we have added to product in FR23 so if you upgrade to 23, with your new backups system will keep the Mac ino and during the restore you have this option to maintain the same Mac addressfor VM.
