Hi @Sandy11

All of the Office365 agents (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc) consume Mailbox Archive Solution Licensing.  Depending on what Feature Release the Commcell is currently running, and which Feature Release was used for the initial deployment, that license type may or may not currently be enforced, however that is the license type that is consumed by these jobs.

As is mentioned in this article, if the environment was upgraded from prior Feature Releases, we don’t enforce this license type, which means that even if it goes over the limit it won’t stop backup activity.  There will of course come a time where this license type will be enforced for all Commcells.

If the environment does not have any Mailbox Archive Solution licensing, the meters in the Commcell Console will show a bar graph and list a ‘Suggested Total’, which shows how many licenses would be consumed if the license is purchased.

Hi @Sandy11 - it really depends on which licensing model you are on/or and which products you have. There is a licensing guide here that might help:

https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/others/pdf/commvault-complete-license-guide.pdf

In the more recent licensing I believe that models mailbox protection is licensed separately to capacity.
