Event Code: 18:189 Severity Critical
Desription: Failed to connect to RMAN catalog databas
I need that backups than end with a critical event whose event code is 18:189, show up as completed with errors

There is an additional setting that you can use to force a pending status in cases where the RMAN catalog is down or not accessible during the Oracle backup:

Could you please describe the issue bit more, do you see this error after the oracle software upgrade ? or is it restored instance?
This issue some times occurs when you don't have File system agent installed.

In this moment, when the job is completed whith this error, Commvault marks the job as "Completed"(green).I need when the job have that event or error (18:189) , the job will finished completed whit erros ( orange)
