Testing the Oracle agent on Centos 07 and when following the deployment guide using the web interface and adding a server / instance i noted that the Media Agent package is selected for installation and subsequently installed/ Why so???? It shows in Console having a red icon so hasn't consumed a licence but why would it install?

Hi
Installing any Database agent from Databases solution installs MediaAgent package also without consuming MA license. This is because MA is a required component for IntelliSnap.
The idea here is to make the installation operation complete for all use cases. If you’re not using IntelliSnap, there is no harm in uninstalling MA package.
