Oracle database restore from tape. Error Code: [72:151]

Hello, Team

 

So, i was trying to restore from tape and i got this error below; 

Kindly advise on what can be done to fix this.

The architecture is, backup to disk using media agent in first location, and replicating to tape from first location to second location with another media agent that the tape is attached.

I am trying to restore to oracle instance in the first loation. I have restore for a VM before, and it was fine.

Please, help.

Error Code: [72:151]
Description: Error :[No     recover SCN received .]
Source: Clone_preprodfcdb, Process: ClOraAgent

Hi @Mubaraq 

From the error it looks like the recovery options were not selected during the restore, could you go to the advance restore options and under recovery tab either provide a point in time or SCN and rerun the restore.

Yes, you are right. We selected the most recent backup and worked.
