oracle home is not correct -

Oracle Database

Best answer by Mike Struening RETIRED

I see you had an Oracle incident shortly after this post was created, so I’m posting that incident's solution here:

We resolved the target/backup-location connection issue by adding the source tns entries to the destination tnsnames.ora file.

This time, the restore has failed at the end while unplugging the pluggable database from the temporary aux instance:-

We noticed that the oracle user who executes the CVpluggable script doesn't have permissions to the CV job results path.

We executed the cvpkgchg script and changed the group permission to dba.

Dropped the previous restored aux database and submitted a new restore.

This time, the restore has completed successfully, and we also noticed the new pluggable database on the destination instance.

Hi @Never_Give_Up

Welcome to the Community!

Please would you add a little more detail about the question you would like to ask the Community?

Perhaps provide a description of what is happening, some error messages and the outcome you are expecting.

If you are able to provide some log messages that will also help us understand the issue and provide some guidance for you.

Thanks,

Stuart
