I want to restore oracle table space.

i don’t no RMAN-20208

 

oracle state : OPEN

tablespace EXAMPLE offline

 

What should i do?

The error being seen usually means that the backup can not be added to the database cause the backup data is out of context for the current database control file (or in other words the backup is older than the database).

Was a new control file created?
