Hi,

We are in the process of decommissioning our Commvault Server e.g. firstly P2V it, then, power the VM off and leave it somewhere.

Giving that, in the future, the only occasion we might need to power on the VM is to check its configuration setting, therefore, am I to say that we do not need to P2V its storage disk pools which are shown as MagLib in the below screenshot ?

Thanks,

Kelvin

Hi @Kelvin ,

What configuration settings do you need to check?

You just need to restore the OS (C:), however if you need to check something in Commvault, then also restore Commvault (D:).

Best Regards,

Sebastien
