Before I raise a ticket, trying to reproduce it, I want to check here if someone ever experienced the same.

This is the case back-up data is save on 3 copies 

Primary (disk) → Synchronous (disk)→ Selective (tape)
The Synchronous job is used as as source for the tape copy.

The Synchronous copy has the option “Pick data from running job” enables (well had)

This was disabled as we saw that the Selective copy also started to copy the data that still was being copied to the Synchronous copy (job-ids had the status partially copied). This is strange, because that option is not there in the SPc.

And you do not want this, because the fact data is going to tape but more important, the jobs should be become marked as “With errors” in de Synchronous copy and therefor not copied but instead the next job closed to the selective rules.

Did anyone ever experienced the same and knows the reason/solution?
