Few quick questions regarding some pre-defined CV console alerts. I am unable to find this information online

  1. Unusual job activity alert.
    1. What does code 14:300 mean? This is default as the alert is enabled
    2. Do we need to expanded this alert to include more codes?
  2. Increase in data size
    1. Does this include alerting on VSA and NDMP as well?
    2. If no to above, would we have to install an iData agent on each VM to allow alerting?

Thank you for your time

Good morning.

  1.  14:300 is a Windows code for “Not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation.”  I am not sure that I understand the second part of your question.
  2. The alert will cover whatever agents and clients it is associated to:

Thank you for the response.

“I am not sure that I understand the second part of your question.”

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant is should we enable more than just the pre defined 14:300 code.  Meaning add more codes to this alert

That really depends on your needs.   Generally this is left as default from what I have seen though I am sure there are use cases where a need to configure further exists.
