Yesterday we added a new client to our commcell.  We had originally purchased 20 Virtual Operating Instances.  So with the addition of yesterdays client we are now at 100 %.  We have used all 20 of 20 licenses purchased.

My question is why do I see this message in the events:

System has reached within 100 percent limit of [Virtual Operating Instances] usage. System may start to disable options soon.

So yes I understand we are at 100% and have no plans of adding another client unless of course we release a license on a current client.  But what does it mean

SYSTEM MAY START to DISABLE OPTIONS soon???

now sure I understand why it states this.

SNIP:

Please advise

Thanks

That is a normal alert. It is just notifying you that you are at the maximum amount purchased and going over that could lead to a disruption in backup activity.

Thanks @robert_michaels .   Just kind of a weird message when it states about “SYSTEM MAY START to DISABLE OPTIONS soon”

Hello,

What does it mean this message “System has reached within 100 percent limit of [Virtual Operating Instances] usage. System may start to disable options soon.”

Is there any issue with the backups ? is there a grace period ?

Regards,

Hassan
