Required Esxi host backup

Dear Support Team,

 

One of the my customer having 4 servers vmware ESXi host and its booting from SAN storage. Is there any option can we take entire ESXi host image backup and restore into new IBM storage.

Hi Mani,

Commvault protection of VMWare is limited to VMs and associated files. 
If you have your VMs already backed up you can just install ESX/vCenter on the new storage and restore VMs accordingly.
Unfortunately Commvault does not protect the host itself.
