Reserved Space on Mount Path - increased from 2 GB to 100 GB after SP24 to SP28 Upgrade

Upgrade from 11.24.90 to 11.28.56

Hello

I upgraded last from 11.24 to 11.28 to essentially upgrade the SQL DB last week

I noticed when doing my before the weekend space checks, that each mount path in the disk library now had 100 GB allocated, this was previously 2 GB


I’m sure there is a good reason?
My problem is, my customer has multiple mount paths in his library, never enough space and now has lost some more space in his disk library

If anyone could share the reasons for the increase and whether reducing back to 2GB is actually sensible - that would be great!

Good afternoon.  I am not sure of the reason for the change but I do know if you lower it back to 2GB, it will revert to 100GB when you do your next updates.  There is a CMR request in with Development to allow this to be modified and stay that way though I do not know the status of it at this time.  I will see what I can find out.
