Restarting service - affect backup running ?

Hi @Ajal ,

You just need to suspend the job first and make sure it is suspended before restarting the Commvault services or rebooting the Media Agent.

@Sebastien Merluzzi  hello we are actually running on older version 11.14 and and our ddb got corrupter and ddp full construction is going on , currently we are managing the backup operation directly to tape library  we need to add additional media to tape and we need to restart the services for media to be discovered inside the media library

same time the ddb recon job is running from last month 25th , just want to make sure it will not affected by suspending the job or restarting the service
