Hello,

Database administrator wants to restore SAP for oracle Database from Production to dev. (AWS instances)

source instances has already Commvault agents and it is backup each day. destination instance has also Sap for Oracle Instance.

Is there any ports to open ? Is there any documention that mention how ports needs to be open if required ?

Thanks

Hi @Bloopa

Besides from the standard TCP Ports Used for Services, there are no special network requirements for SAP for Oracle. So long as agent communication between the CS/MA and the destination client is working as expected, the restore to the new client should be fine.

Here is the documentation link for Performing SAP for Oracle Database Copy, ie. an out of place restore to a different client.

Thanks,

Stuart
