Some question on salesforce data protection through Commvault 

 

  1. How does the CV licensing model apply to Salesforce?
  2. Which Salesforce entity serves as the basis for CV licenses?
  3. Does CV support both capacity-based and agent-based licensing models for Salesforce protection?
  4. Is it necessary to use Commvault Cloud/Metallic SaaS, or can an in-house Commvault deployment on a physical server or VM also be used for Salesforce protection?

11.36 - but can be upgraded to latest in case required 

Does the licensing differs for different CV versions in case of salesforce ?

You can use on-prem installation. Licesnee based on active SF user.
