Hey all - I have a content indexing question - if we remove a storage policy from content indexing , what happens to those indexes?  Do they stay?  How do we clean them up?  Example - 2 storage policies and only 1 is indexed.  We removed the check box from that one and added the other storage policy  and ran a index job.  Does the previous indexing stay put?  Is there a way to clean up the indexes from the previous storage policy?

previous index will stay. until  one goes and manually delete-content-indexing-job for that SP.  https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/12304_deleting_content_index_of_specific_backup_job.html

@Melissa Adams , I’m pretty sure we age those entries out, though I’m checking with some of our support folks to make sure.

I’ll be in touch (or someone else will reply directly).;
