Selective Copy is a Yearly Full also a Monthly Full

This question is not very clear. Can you please advise if you have 1 or 2 copies? 
Can you provide a screenshot of your Storage Policy with all of their copies and retentions. 
Can you please provide further details of the symptoms you are seeing.

Selective Copy configuration you've set up will pick the last full backup of each month for Auxiliary Copy. These jobs will then be retained for the number of days specified in your retention settings.

Since you’ve enabled the option “Wait until the current period is over before selecting a backup for this time period,” no backups from the current month will be selected until the month ends. For example, the last full backup from March will be marked as "To Be Copied," and if you run the auxiliary copy operation in April, that March backup will be selected.

If you wish to retain a Yearly Copy with a longer retention period using the same Selective Copy, you need to configure an Extended Retention Rule for yearly full backups, specifying the desired retention duration. You can select the Rule to pick the first or last full backup of each year that will honor the Yearly retention

Hi Albert,

i have

1 copy for monthly fulls and

1 copy for yearly fulls

my exception that even the job marked as a yearly full is also a monthly full. What i expierienced is that the “yearly full” backup jobs are only on the yealry full copy but not on the montly full.
