Hello Commvault Community,

 

Today I would like to ask you for help with a problem regarding "Sharepoint export of site."

For some time the client has been observing a problem with backup jobs for a specific subclient (HELIOS), the job ends with the status Completed with errors - Error Code: :27: 275] Description: Failed during SharePoint export of site ehttp://xyz.xyz.pl ]. Error from SharePoint: :This constraint cannot be enabled as not all values have corresponding parent values.]. Source: epm, Process: CVSPBackup. (screen1-5)

 

Following the error track, I looked at the logs of the day and time the problem occurred.

Hi Kamil,

 

This error generally is an issue on the SharePoint side.  Can you try a test export using the SharePoint Management Shell?  Here’s a command you can use:

 

Export-SPWeb -Identity <Site URL> -Path <UNC Export Path> -NoFileCompression -IncludeVersions All -IncludeUserSecurity -UseSQLSnapshot

 

If this command produces the same error as the backup, then I would recommend talking to your SharePoint Admin.

The client tested the command sent by @Mike H and came up with a new error code.

 

Failure Reason:

  • ERROR CODE C27:275]: Failed during SharePoint export of site http://xyz.xyz.pl]. Error from SharePoint: PThe object of type ListItem with Id 019a8975-f856-422b-91a5-b7cbcc67afa2 that was configured as part of the Export Settings does not exist.].

What are the next steps to fix the problem?

Hi Kamil,

 

The command given by Mike performs a native export of the site from Sharepoint, nothing more than that. It’s used as an approximation of the export process CV is running as part of the backup operation.

 

Did running this command produce the same error?

Did it produce a different error?

 

There should be an export.log generated by this operation in the UNC path specified in the command. This log will have more information about any errors you’re seeing. If you’re seeing errors during the native operation, then it points to a problem in the Sharepoint side that needs to be addressed by your Sharepoint administrators. If Sharepoint cannot export the files then Commvault cannot back them up.

If you can share, what was the issue from the Sharepoint? And what has been done by Sharepoint admin?

Unfortunately, the thread is very old, and I don't have any records of what the SharePoint Admin operations were, but it was definitely a problem on the Sharepoint application side, not on the Commvault side.
