Hi, I’m not working a lot with Snap Copy and one of my customers wants to use it in this way !

Multiple Snap during the days, let’s say one every hour but he wants to have a backup copy of the last one of the days only and he is using Plan to manages is environment.

I believe this is the configuration you would like (screenshot below).

You will need to set the selection rules to Daily (by default the “day” starts at 12am) and the last full backup. Note that selective backup copy will only copy Full backups. If you only run 1 Full backup per day the “first full backup” or “last full backup” of the time period is irrelevant.

Thank you,

Collin

Under the Storage Policy properties and Snapshot you can specify the rule:

I hope it helps.

Hello @Marco Lachance

Do you happen to know which Agent the customer will be using? Virtual Server, Windows\Linux Filesystem, or NDMP?

Thank you,

Collin
