Hi All,

i’m deploying a Commserve on RHEL 8.8 and i can’t find SNMP enabler option in the installation menu.

How can i set SNMP for Linux Commserve ? is there install by default when deploying Commserve on linux ?

Kind regards,

Christophe

Hi,

For SNMP configuration from the command center, refer to the following documentation.

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/essential/setting_up_snmpv3_alert_notifications.html

Hi,

Thank you for the reply but it’s not what i’m asking for.

on Windows Commserve the option “SNMP enabler” should be picked to enable SNMP monitoring.

On Linux Commserve the option is not available during the installation setup.

Hi Chris,

SNMP V3 is inherently supported and does not require an 'SNMP enabler'.
