Hi Team,

I'm looking to see if there is a way to remotely start stopped Commvault services. Is it possible to do this with Commvault Console?

Best Regards.

Hi @0ber0n well in case all Commvault services on the client are stopped than there is not much Commvault can do because it relies on the Communication service. So you'll have to look into alternatives for example using PowerShell in case it's Windows or using SSH in case it's Linux. There is a possibility to integrate remote command into the CommCell console using quick access tools.

Hi @Onno van den Berg,

Thank you for the quick reply.

I couldn't find anything either, but I wanted to ask anyway :) As you said, I'm thinking of writing a script with PowerShell.

Best Regards.
