Hi Team,

We are receiving the error: "All streams and multiplexing factors  of storage policy copy x are in use" Then all jobs go into waiting state. I have tried increasing the streams on the affected policy copies but its not working. Any ideas?

Had a session with support and checked optimize for LAN backups option, which allowed me to increase the streams to 400. The issue seems fixed now. Thanks alot guys.

Check to see if the media agent running the copy has enough streams enabled. You may be hitting the limit on the media agent

Already checked. The limit is set to maximum 200.

@MOGFREY , to confirm, are you seeing ALL jobs Waiting (as opposed to all jobs except the running ones)?

Assuming the latter, do you have any Aux Copies running?  Also, how many streams is the actual Storage Policy set to use?

Yep with this option enabled you can set a maximum of 800.

Quote documentation:

"Note: The default number of concurrent read/write operations to a MediaAgent is 25. This value can be set between 1 and 75.

If Optimize for Concurrent LAN Backup option is enabled from the Control tab, then the default is set to 100 and this value can be set to a maximum of 800"
