Trying to understand if it makes sense to leverage their backup API.

Thanks.

Hi @Skarra

We have support for RedHat OpenShift natively in Commvault:

RedHat OpenShift

Commvault only backs up applications that have persistent volume claims (PVCs).

Red Hat OpenShift: System Requirements

Commvault recommends that the existing users of the Red Hat OpenShift VSA solution migrate their backup operations to the Kubernetes solution, to backup and restore additional containerized data types.

Note: Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform versions 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5 are supported by the <Kubernetes> solution only.

Thanks,

Stuart
