Synthetic Full

Hi,

In My env we created two different libraires recently we changed a storage policy for few clients and i didn’t run any manual backup after changing the storage policy. i leave as it as  schedule. my concern is Do i need to run manual full backup/ How SF will copy the previous Full?

Note: We are using Same Index cache but Libraires are different.

Hi Manchem,

Synthetic Fulls will incorporate all incremental changes since the last full backup. If there are no significant modifications, the size of the synthetic full backup will match the current state and size of the content being backed up.

Hi Manchem,

Good day!

If the storage policy is changed and it belongs to different library, you need to run the manual full backup.

Hi @Manchem ,

Can you elaborate more on this sizing (If possible, provide some screenshots)
